Affordable Services that won't break the bank!
The cost from some DJ's is probably less you might think and you can get value for money but these can vary considerably so you need to make sure you know what you are getting for your money my services are definitely affordable as I don't do this for the money it is more of a hobby and I usually reinvest the money I receive in to buying new or upgrading gear. My prices start from £200.00 (e.g. for local, easy access, max 3 hour set) which I know is probably the cheapest in town and the factors which affect the price are detailed below.
Mobile DJ Cost Factors
Firstly it is important to understand that I provide music at private parties at small to medium sized venues, which includes the provision of all sound and lighting equipment covering a wide cross section of music genres. I am not a club DJ providing complex dance mixes against backbeats.
The following factors determine the price for your event and my quote will need to take these into account : travelling to the venue, access to the venue (are there any stairs to climb), parking, duration, start time and are there any Licenses to purchase.
There is no price variation related to the type of sound or lighting rig I use. Some Mobile DJ's will charge you based on what equipment they bring to the event including the size of the PA output and the types of lights, I do not.
